Sewing classes, language sessions and social meet-ups are all reducing isolation and helping people seeking asylum to work towards establishing a fulfilling life, with vital connections to the local community.
Our community learning project in Reading is benefiting from close work with local partner organisations such as Refugee Support Group and Green Ways who share many of our goals. Through joint sessions, cross-referrals and regular meet-ups, we are able to work together to assist people with the development of skills as well as to access essential resources in the community to improve the quality of life.
